Two accidents caused minor injuries to three people in the Route 22 area of Bel Air and Churchville on Tuesday afternoon.
A juvenile was hit by a car while crossing Route 22 at Schucks Road coming from McDonald's, Maryland State Police Cpl. J.D. Griffin said.
He could not disclose the victim's age or other identifying information, but said the pedestrian was taken to Upper Chesapeake Medical Center with minor injuries.
The driver of the vehicle was also a juvenile and was driving a blue Ford Explorer, he said.
Another accident tied up Route 543 near Redfield Road at about 5 p.m.
Two people were taken to Upper Chesapeake Medical Center with minor injuries, Griffin said.
The crash involved three vehicles and four people, he said.
The Harford County Volunteer Fire & EMS Association warned the road might be closed for an hour, but Griffin said at about 5:30 p.m. the road was already partially opened and would be fully clear soon.Copyright © 2015, The Baltimore Sun
