To show their support for the Ravens and say thanks to Ray Lewis for 17 years of memories, Harford County government employees are holding a Purple Pride Bake Sale this Friday, Jan. 18, in Bel Air.
All proceeds from the Purple Pride Bake Sale will go to The Ray Lewis 52 Foundation, helping to provide assistance to disadvantaged youth.
The sale will be from 7:30 to 9 a.m. in the lobby of 220 S. Main St., the main county administration building.
The baked goods offered for sale will be available for purchase by the general public, as well as county employees, according to the county.
Plans for the bake sale were circulated late last week before the Ravens beat Denver last Saturday in the divisional round of the AFC playoffs. The Ravens play the New England Patriots for the AFC championship Sunday evening in Foxboro, Mass.
All county departments and agencies have been invited to participate in the sale.
An award will be given to the most creative Ravens baked goods.
