John Archer School students, guests dance the night away

Students at the John Archer School near Bel Air celebrated the school's third Junior-Senior Prom Friday evening with a masquerade ball theme.

Dressed in their beautiful dresses and suits, the students, their dates and families posed for photos in a trellis in the school's lobby.

The approximately 60 guests enjoyed dinner from Giovanni's in Edgewood and two sheet cakes from Double T Diner in Bel Air in the school's cafeteria, before dancing the night away with music from D.J. Chris Stapleton.

Masquerade centerpieces and decorations made by school staff completed the theme. Generous donations from Chesapeake Bank and the Boceks family helped make the evening a success.

Harford Tech student volunteers helped students and families, and former teacher Lori Sheppard was there to capture photos of the evening helping to make the night extra special.
