The Bel Air golf team won again Tuesday, this time at Ruggles Golf Course, in a tri-match with North Harford and host Harford Tech.
Bel Air shot 211, seven strokes better than North Harford's 218. Tech was a distant third with 273.
In the win, Bel Air got another low score, but it wasn't from one of the usuals. Cody Smith shot a one-over par round of 37 to lead the Bobcats, while the usual pace setter, Tyler Newton, shot 43. Kevin Morrissey also shot 43, while Sam Tepelides and Nick Loiodice each shot 44.
North Harford was led by Austin Wilcox, 38. Luke Johnson added a 43 and Sam VanValkenberg shot 44. The Hawks other scores were Morgan Wirtz, 45, and Richie Vanderneck, 48.
Tech's scoring was led by Mason Paradiso, 48. The Cobras other scorers were Patrick Coward, 53; Connor Milanicz, 56; Chris Stallings, 56; and Collen Chase, 57.
Indians top Eagles, Rams
Aberdeen freshman Mitchell Hardin fired a leading round of 38 at Exton Golf Course on Tuesday, but the Eagles were edged by North East in the team scoring, 229-231. Edgewood was third with 248.
In addition to Hardin's scoring, David Fulp and Emily Byers each shot 44. Charles Hash, 50, and Elizabeth Caudill, 55, also scored for the Eagles.
Derek Bolton shot 40 to pace North East's win, while Ryan Barrows shot 43. Other North East scorers were Jake Watson, 45; Hunter Martin, 48; and Cameron Kruk, 53.
Edgewood's scorers were Connor Johnson, 42; Evan Shuck, 47; Victor Tusha, 49; Wyatt Ortman, 51; and Philip Irving, 59.Copyright © 2015, The Baltimore Sun
