The Bel Air golf team was at it again Thursday in a dual meet with Rising Sun at Ruggles Golf Course. Havre de Grace also participated, but with just two golfers, do not record a team score.
Bel Air won the match with a score of 221, while Rising Sun posted a 228.
Nick Loiodice's round of 40 led the Bobcats and was low round of the match. Tyler Newton shot 41 and Cody Smith added a 44. Spencer Comitz, 47, and Connor Small, 49, closed out the Bobcats scoring.
Rising Sun's top player was Zach Van Dyke, who shot 42. Zach Alexander shot 45, while Adam Janney, Nick Arrata and Sean Goodie each shot 47.
Havre de Grace Evan Kelly and Rhys Hockenberry shot 54 and 60, respectively.
Hawks win tri-match
North Harford's Morgan Wirtz fired a two-under par round of 34 Thursday to lift her team to a win at Geneva Farm Golf Course.
The play by Wirtz propelled the Hawks to a score of 209, besting Perryville, 221, and Bo Manor, 225.
Luke Johnson shot 41 to aid in the Hawks scoring and Sam VanValkenburg shot 44. Austin Wilcox and Josh Nagengast each shot 45 to round out the Hawks scoring.
DJ Sheckells led Perryville with 38 and Tyler Pollitt carded a 39. Other Panthers scoring were Kyle Ciaccia, 45; Jake Eldreth, 49; and Jonny Eldreth, 50.
Bo Manor's scores were Hunter Tollinger, 43; Drew Carpenter, 45; Garrett Williams, 45; Ashley Mayse, 46; and Ryan Hannah, 46.
Eagles win dual match
Aberdeen picked up a dual meet win Wednesday at Exton Golf Course. The Eagles shot 235 to top Edgewood, 255. Joppatowne also played, but with just two golfers, doesn't record a team score.
Mitchell Hardin led Aberdeen with 37 and David Fulp shot 43. Emily Byers added a 49, while Max Craig shot 52 and Charles Hash shot 54.
Edgewood was led by Connor Johnson's 43. Victor Tusha added a score of 50 and Evan Shuck shot 53. Philip Irving and Ethan Bowlin rounded out Edgewood's scoring with 54 and 55, respectively.
Joppatowne's players were Josh Spliedt, 45, and Cory Brewer, 62.
Cougars win too
At Chesapeake Bay-North East, Fallston shot 234 to beat North East and Elkton, which both shot 256.
