Bobcats get win

Bel Air also picked up a non-league win Monday, beating visiting North Carroll, 13-10.

Shannon Williams scored three goals and assisted on another to lift the Bobcats (5-4 overall) to victory. Tori Gryglewski also scored three goals.

Cassidy Jones added a pair of goals and four assists and Sam Keesey also scored twice. Rebekah Riley, Sarah Dempsey and Taylor Burrier had single goals.

The Bobcats played two goalies with Taylor Gillis and Lucy Loughlin each making eight saves.

Cougars win 2 of 3

Fallston played three games in five days and won two of them.

In their most recent game, the Cougars hosted state power Winters Mill Monday and lost, 14-7, getting outscored 10-3 in the second half.

Senior captain Lindsay Summers and Logan Gasior led the Cougars (5-5 overall) offense with two goals each, while Caroline English, Kayla Reilly and Megan Shock each scored one goal. All Fallston goals were unassisted.

Fallston goalie Erika Wright made nine saves in the loss.

Fallston also played Saturday and won, beating visiting St. Mark's of Delaware, 17-5. The Cougars led 8-3 at the half.

English led the Cougars with four goals, while Rachel Barile and Reilly scored three goals each. Ashley Mozingo and Gasior added two goals apiece and single goals were tallied by Summers, Shock and Emily Scranton.

English and Summers each added three assists, while Reilly and Shock had two assists each. Barile, Gasior and Katie Donhauser also had assists and Cougars goalie Erika Wright made three saves.

Fallston picked up another Chesapeake win Thursday, edging visiting Bel Air, 8-7.

Fallston scored three goals in the last two and a half minutes in a come from behind win. Summers scored the winning goal, her only one, with eight seconds left on the clock.

Mozingo and English led the Cougars with three goals each and Gasior also scored in the win. Scranton, Mozingo and Reilly had assists for Fallston (3-1 league).

Sam Keesey scored three goals to pace Bel Air, while Cassidy Jones scored two. Tori Gryglewski and Shannon Williams also scored for Bel Air (1-3 league, 4-4 overall). 

Jones added two assists and Williams had one.

Fallston goalie Erika Wright finished with six saves and Bel Air keeper Taylor Gillis had four.
