Playing at home on Friday night in their final game before the holiday break, the North Harford Hawks girls basketball team beat Fallston, 54-49.
North Harford led the game, 20-15, at the halftime intermission.
Allie Whitacre was the Hawks top scorer, as she punched in 13 points. Savannah Testerman was close behind with 12 points in the victory.
Fallston's Kayla Reilly led her team in scoring with 19 points, while Logan Gasior contributed 12.
Edgewood over North East
The Edgewood Rams took on the visiting North East Indians Friday, and won, 55-39.
Edgewood's Shania Stamper had a game-high 17 points.
HdG defeats Harford Christian
The Havre de Grace Warriors won at home on Friday, handing the Harford Christian Eagles a 47-35 loss.
At the Private vs. Public School challenge on Saturday, the C. Milton Wright Mustangs were defeated, 65-51, by the host-team Notre Dame Prep.
CMW's Emma Hahner had 20 points and seven rebounds.
Patterson Mill tops Western Tech
The Patterson Mill girls defeated visiting Western Tech, 58-42, in a Thursday contest.
Qalea Ismail led the Huskies, putting up 22 points, eight rebounds, four steals and three assists. Samantha Herman had 17 points and four assists in the victory.
Bel Air over Joppatowne
The Bel Air girls basketball team kept right on rolling Thursday night, handing the visiting Joppatowne Mariners a 65-27 defeat.
Renie Tsomos led the Bobcat attack, putting up 13 points, while Meagan Barnett posted 11 points.
Joppatowne's Tyshaun Creighton led all scorers with a 19-point showing.
Bel Air led, 44-14, after two quarters of play.
Harford Christian topped by Rising Sun
The Harford Christian Eagles dropped a road matchup on Thursday to Rising Sun, 64-49.
Chloe Akers led the Eagles in scoring with 15 points, while Kelsey Williams had eight points in the loss. Abby Hughey hit for seven points, and Lily Loomis and Gabrielle Joyner both had five. Grace Shanahan and Taylor Lavin each scored four points.
Lavin paced her team in rebounds with nine, while Williams pulled down eight boards and Joyner, six.
Steph Tittel dished out a team-best seven assists and Loomis led the Eagles in steals with seven.
CMW topped by Perry Hall
The C. Milton Wright Mustangs lost, 66-57, at home on Thursday to the Perry Hall team.
At halftime, the Mustangs were trailing, 27-26.
