Making a visit to North Harford Tuesday night, Patterson Mill got in a final tuneup for Thursday's UCBAC girls basketball showdown with Aberdeen.
The Huskies (4-0, 9-2) picked up the 63-44 Chesapeake (upper) Division win on the road.
Morgan Golec pumped in 21 points to lead the Huskies and Samantha Herman netted 18.
Annie Wernig led the Hawks (0-3, 2-8) with 20 points and Morgan Knox chipped in with 11.
Aberdeen (3-0, 7-2) will visit Patterson Mill at 6:45 p.m. Thursday for the division lead.
Rams handle Panthers
Edgewood (4-0, 5-5) stayed atop the Susquehanna (lower) Division standings by beating visiting Perryville, 64-34.
Shania Stamper led the Rams with 17 points and three assists. Edgewood will host Havre de Grace at 6:45 p.m. Thursday in a battle for the Susquehanna division lead.
Warriors beat Eagles
Havre de Grace (3-1, 3-5) had little trouble with visiting Bo Manor in Susquehanna play, winning easily, 37-12.
The Warriors outscored the Eagles 10-2 in the first quarter and led 20-8 at the half.
Hadizah Tukpei scored 10 points in the win and also grabbed seven rebounds. Shannon Pilcher added eight points, six rebounds and one block, while Addie Richardson tallied seven points.
Ashley Algard pulled down a team-high 10 rebounds and also scored six points, while Lauren Herrington added nine steals, three rebounds and one assist.
Tigers beat Mariners
Joppatowne (2-2, 2-5) lost its Susquehanna contest with visiting Rising Sun, 26-20. Felicia Okoye scored 10 points to pace the Mariners.Copyright © 2015, The Baltimore Sun
