An unarmed man robbed the Safeway gas station in Bel Air on Sunday, the Harford County Sheriff's Office said.
The man entered the station's store, in the 1200 block of East Churchville Road, at about 7 p.m. and told the clerk to give him money, which the clerk did, according to police reports.
The man then walked out of the store toward CVS pharmacy and Brierhill Drive, the store clerk told police.
The man never displayed or implied that he had a weapon and no patrons were in the store during the robbery, the police report states.
The suspect is described as white, between 6 feet 2 inches and 6 feet 4 inches tall, a thin build, deep voice and wearing a plain brown hooded parka, red-and-blue bandanna covering his face, blue jeans and black gloves.
A K-9 search was conducted. The police report does not provide information on an arrest or any further information.Copyright © 2015, The Baltimore Sun
