North Harford beats Perryville in Monday UCBAC field hockey tilt

North Harford evened its UCBAC Chesapeake (upper) Division field hockey record on Monday afternoon, as the Hawks (7-3 overall, 7-3 Chesapeake) came back from Perryville with a 2-0 victory over the host-team Panthers.

The two teams played to a scoreless dead heat in the first half.

In the second half, North Harford's Gabby Karr and Jamie Rickey each scored once.

Rachel Baca had North Harford's only assist.

North Harford goalie Jess Hart had two saves.

Patterson Mill over Perry Hall

Patterson Mill (6-3-1 overall, 3-2-1 Chesapeake) took a road victory on Monday, beating host Perry Hall, 6-4.

Linnea Gonzalez had the Huskies' best offensive performance, notching three goals and two assists.

Mariel Castronova had two goals for the winners, while Abby Smith scored once. Alyssa Jourdan led Patterson Mill with two assists and teammate Julie Sibbesen had one assist.

Bel Air pounds Edgewood

The Bel Air Bobcats (8-2-1 overall, 3-2-1 Chesapeake) grabbed a non-division road win Monday by dispatching the Edgewood Rams, 9-0.

Olivia Auer had one goal and two assists, while fellow Bobcat Judy Yurkofsky notched one goal and one assist.

Sam Keesey, Carolyn Todd, Anna Farley, Alissa Gill, Katie Bowling, Meghan Scarry and Hailey Meyer all scored once.

Hawks over Bobcats

The North Harford Hawks took a 3-1 victory over visiting Bel Air (7-2-1 overall, 3-2-1 Chesapeake) in a Friday field hockey matchup that went to penalty strokes.

The game moved to penalty strokes after a 1-1 tie could not be resolved through regulation time and two periods of sudden-death overtime. In the penalty phase, Bel Air failed to convert a shot, while North Harford's Rachel Baca and Sarah Jackson both found the Bobcats' net.

Following a scoreless first half, North Harford's Juliet Dolinar scored her team's only regulation-time goal, with an assist from Sarah Jackson.

Bel Air's Tori Gryglewski scored the Bobcats' only tally unassisted.

Tech over Bo Manor

The Harford Tech Cobras (9-3 overall, 8-0 Susquehanna) took another Susquehanna (lower) Division victory Friday, beating the visiting Bo Manor Eagles, 4-2.

The hosts led, 2-0, at halftime.

Tyler Bethke had two goals and one assist in the win, while Mikaela Hairston posted one goal and one assist. Courtney Poole had one goal and Olivia Keller had one assist for the Cobras.

Havre de Grace beaten

The Havre de Grace Warriors (2-10 overall, 2-5 Susquehanna) took a 3-1 loss to visiting Rising Sun on Friday.

Marissa Diaz scored the Warriors' only goal.

Havre de Grace goalie Kateri Peters had five saves.
