The season for community farmers markets has arrived in Harford County.
The popular Bel Air Farmers Market opened for its 39th season on April 12 and continues each Saturday through November from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the Risteau State Office Building on the corner of Bond and Thomas streets in Bel Air.

The Havre de Grace Farmers Market opens for the season on Saturday, May 3, and will be open every Saturday through October from 9 a.m. to noon downtown on Pennington Avenue.

In a change from last year, Bel Air's Marketplace on Main will be open on the third Sunday of each month from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., from May 18 through Oct. 19. The location of the Marketplace has also changed to Office Street in downtown Bel Air.
The Marketplace on Main will feature local growers and producers, as well as local artisans, crafters and entertainment. The Marketplace on Main is sponsored by the Bel Air Downtown Alliance. Visit http://www.downtownbelair.com/events for more information.
