A man fell from a ladder in a wooded area near Churchville area early Saturday afternoon and was being airlifted to a regional trauma center, according to Harford County emergency officials.
The injuries were said to be serious but non-life threatening.
The man fell at approximately 1:30 p.m. in the 3100 block of Churchville Road (Route 22) near Aldino Road.
Monitored Harford County emergency radio broadcasts initially said the man fell 15 feet. Four-wheel drive vehicle assistance was requested because of the remoteness of the area where the accident occurred.
At 2:20 p.m., a Maryland State Police Medevac was summoned to the Churchville Recreation Complex off Route 155 to transfer the victim to a trauma center.
Emergency officials said the victim was in his 50s; however, no additional details about him or the circumstances of the accident were immediately available.
