Traffic was backed up on Bel Air Bypass Tuesday night because of a single-car accident, Maryland State Police said.
The accident was on the bypass south of the overpass between Vale and Rock Spring roads.
Around 9 p.m., the backup extended nearly to Mountain Road in Fallston.
The state police duty officer said he didn't believe anyone was injured in the crash, but the vehicle was down in a ditch and had to be pulled out.
No further details were available.
