The C. Milton Wright boys volleyball squad won at home Tuesday, fending off the visiting North Harford squad to take a 3-1 match victory.
CMW took the first contest, 25-23, while North Harford evened things up in the second game with a 25-19 win. The hosts sealed up the match with back-to-back wins of 25-19.
CMW's Justin Pezella came through with 29 assists, three blocks, three kills and two aces, while Jeffrey Bleach had six kills and two blocks in the victory. Tyler Durst had nine kills and four blocks for CMW.
Bel Air beats Aberdeen
The Bel Air Bobcats traveled to play Aberdeen on Tuesday, and came away from the road match with a 3-1 overall win.
After losing the first game, 25-21, the Bobcats rallied to take the next three games, 25-22, 25-21 and 25-22.
Josh Bavis had 11 kills and three blocks in the victory, while fellow Bobcat Brady Grimes had 11 kills and one ace. Ricky Hubble had nine kills, and Jake Davenport posted six kills. Dylan Donley had a team-high four aces.Copyright © 2015, The Baltimore Sun
