The North Harford boys soccer squad continued its unbeaten run Tuesday night, topping the Warriors, 1-0, in Havre de Grace.
The loss dropped Havre de Grace to 4-7 overall and 1-4 in Chesapeake (upper) Division play. The Hawks are 11-0-1 overall and 3-0-1 Chesapeake.
North Harford's goal was scored by Kevin Thompson, who was assisted by Chris Winks.
Robert Fiackos had eight saves in the victory.
Bobcats top Mustangs
The Bel Air Bobcats grabbed an important Chesapeake Division win Tuesday night, defeating the host-team C. Milton Wright Mustangs, 3-2, in sudden-death overtime.
The game was tied 1-1 at halftime, and regulation time ended with the two teams knotted, 2-2.
Carson Kalama led the Bobcats' effort, scoring a pair of goals. Brandon Tolson scored once for the Bobcats.
Nat Hand dished out two assists in the victory, while Jason Dinsmore had one assist.
Dakota Stern and Ryan Lesniewski both scored once for the Mustangs.
Bel Air goalie Ryan Han had three saves. Logan Keys notched six saves in the loss.
The victory pushed Bel Air to 7-3 overall and 4-0 in Chesapeake Division play. CMW fell to 4-6 overall and 1-2 in Chesapeake play.
Patterson Mill wins whitewash
The Patterson Mill Huskies (8-2-2 overall, 2-1-2 Chesapeake) came up with a 2-0 victory Tuesday, defeating the visiting Aberdeen Eagles (4-6-1 overall, 0-4 Chesapeake).
Connor Neumann had one goal and one assist in the victory, while teammate Jake Ross netted one goal. Patterson Mill's Laz Cardwell dished out one assist.
Huskies' goalie Ian Dowding racked up four saves in the shutout.
Harford Christian delivers
The Harford Christian Eagles (11-2) won at home Tuesday, delivering an 8-0 defeat to the visiting Granite Baptist squad.
John Wilson led the winning effort, scoring three times and posting three assists, while Seth McCarty had two goals and a trio of assists for the Eagles. Ryan Redmond netted a pair of goals, while Ryan Comer scored once. Paul Franco and Ian Edwards both had one assist in the win.
Joppatowne earns victory
Playing at home Tuesday, the Joppatowne Mariners (3-6 overall, 2-2 Susquehanna) edged out the Bo Manor boys, 3-2.
Thaliek Willis scored two of the Mariners' goals, while Kojo Adade had one.
Zach Harris posted 11 saves in the victory.
The Harford Tech Cobras (5-5 overall, 3-1 Susquehanna) suffered their first Susquehanna (lower) Division defeat of the year Tuesday, losing 6-1 to the host-team Perryville Panthers.
Greg Ransone scored Harford Tech's only goal with an assist from Russell Fiol.
Cobras' goalie Adam Bednarek had eight saves.
