Harford Christian continues string of boys soccer shutouts

The Harford Christian boys soccer team (10-0 overall) posted its ninth straight shutout win Monday as the Eagles dispatched host Joppatowne, 7-0.

The loss dropped Joppatowne (0-2 Susquehanna) to 1-4 in regular season games.

Seth McCarty scored a hat trick in the victory, while teammate Ian Edward had a pair of goals. Noah Akers scored once and had one assist, while the Eagles' Alex Caldwell netted one goal. Gregory Garner, Luke Fletcher, James Howell and Ben Weaver each had an assist.

Bel Air knocked off

The Bel Air Bobcats were beaten, 3-1, in a road match with Reservoir on Monday.

The defeat knocked the Bobcats (1-1 Chesapeake) down to 3-4 overall.

CMW over Century

C. Milton Wright boys soccer (3-2 overall) picked up a non-UCBAC win Saturday, beating host Century, 2-1.

The Mustangs saw goals scored by Ryan Lesniewski and Kyle Thomas.

CMW's lone assist was dished out by Dakota Stern.

Patterson Mill thumps Edgewood

The Patterson Mill Huskies won on the road Friday night, beating host Edgewood, 7-1.

Logan Hennlein and Chris Jones each scored a hat trick in the victory. Adam Walker scored the other goal for the Huskies.

Larsen Green led Patterson Mill in assists with two, while Jones, Hennlein, Mike Dinatale and Pat Kiley all had one assist.

Patterson Mill goalie Kevin Neumann had four saves.

The victory put Patterson Mill at 4-3 overall, while Edgewood fell to 0-6 for the season.

Bel Air over Havre de Grace

Undefeated prior to their Friday road game with Bel Air, the Havre de Grace Warriors (5-1 overall, 1-1 Chesapeake) suffered a 4-1 loss to the host Bobcats.

North Harford beaten

The North Harford Hawks were edged, 2-1, on the road Friday night by Loch Raven.

The defeat put the Hawks at 3-2-2 for the year.

Fallston over Patterson Mill

The Fallston Cougars (5-0 overall, 1-0 Chesapeake) kept their perfect boys soccer record intact Thursday with a 3-0 road victory over the Patterson Mill Huskies (3-3 overall, 1-1 Chesapeake).

The Cougars' goals were scored by Chris Grant, Jordan Puglisi and Owen West. Aidan O'Donnell dished out two assists, while Vinnie Profili had one.

Tech tops Edgewood

Playing as the guests in a Thursday contest, the Harford Tech Cobras (4-3 overall, 3-0 Susquehanna) netted a 5-1 victory over Edgewood

Harford Tech's Vinnie Iannucci scored twice to pace the Cobra offense, while Nathan Haskell had one goal and one assist. Justin Morris and Jordan Mike each netted one goal in the win, while Steve Chapman posted one assist.

Dylan Knoble scored Edgewood's lone goal.

Cobra goalie Adam Bednarek had five saves, and Edgewood's Cody Dean had a season-high 14 saves.

Aberdeen blanks Bo

Aberdeen (2-3-1 overall, 2-0 Susquehanna) treated the home fans to a victory on Thursday, blanking visiting Bo Manor, 3-0.

Oscar Fjellander, Duane Keller and Danny Geary each scored one goal.

Tyler Green, Devin Murray and Dayne Swarthout each had one assist in the win.

North Harford tied

The North Harford Hawks held visiting Perryville scoreless Thursday night, but the hosts were also held without a goal in a game that ended in a 0-0 draw.

The contest went through two halves of regulation time and two 10-minute sudden-death overtime periods without a tally from either side.
