The C. Milton Wright boys lacrosse team split a pair of games over the past four days, winning Monday, but losing Friday.
Monday's win, an UCBAC Chesapeake (upper) Division contest, saw the Mustangs visit and beat North East, 11-5, after running out to a 10-0 halftime lead.
Alex Meholic and Ben Boyd led the Mustangs (3-2 league, 9-4 overall) with four goals each, while single goals were scored by Paul Mirable, Manny Mastromanolis and Alex Kleinberg.
Andy LeBrun led the assists with three and single assists were credited to Meholic, Mastromanolis, Mirable, Jon Amos and Lukas Gill.
CMW had two goalies in play, with Mark Mayne making four saves and Ryan Malone collecting one.
The Friday loss came at Century, where the Mustangs were beaten 10-5. The Mustangs trailed in the non-league contest at half, 4-1.
Meholic was the lone Mustangs with multiple goals, scoring twice, while Boyd, LeBrun and Kleinberg also netted goals. Mirable had the only CMW assist.
CMW goalie Malone finished with three saves.
Warriors beat Panthers
Havre de Grace (6-5 overall) celebrated its Senior Night Monday and defeated Perryville, 19-5, in non-division play at James R. Harris Stadium.
Havre de Grace started 10 seniors, including attackman/middie Chris Anderson in goal, where he recorded a shutout in the first quarter with six saves. Anderson went on to score three goals at attack and pick up four ground balls.
Brian Cameron led all scorers with nine goals on 13 shots and also had two assists and six ground balls. Sophomore attack Casey Brown added three goals, three assists and three ground balls, while Austin Sylvester scored two goals. Don Matts and Brad Davidson had a goal and an assist each and Matts also added an impressive eight ground balls. Nick Burley chipped in to the scoring with two assists.
Sonny Smith and Michael Laubner led the defense with five and four ground balls, respectively. Ralph Batykefer had six ground balls at midfield.
Rams beat Lansdowne
Edgewood (2-10) took a break from the league schedule Monday and picked up a 17-7 win at Lansdowne.
Shawn Kluchinsky had an outstanding game for the Rams, scoring a school-record 11 goals, while also dishing out two assists.
Keenan Kros added a pair of goals and three assists for Edgewood, while Ryan Stiemly and Joe Ludwig each had two goals and two assists.
Fallston, Dulaney postponed
Monday's non-league game at Fallston against Dulaney was postponed until Thursday night. Game time is 6:45 p.m.
Cobras beat Elks
Harford Tech defeated visiting Elkton Saturday, 21-10, in a rescheduled UCBAC Susquehanna (lower) Division game.
The Cobras (4-1 league, 5-4 overall) attack was led by Tyler Fullem's complete day of five goals, seven assists, seven ground balls and two of two faceoffs. Zack Valenti added four goals, seven assists and five ground balls.
Josh Winter had three goals, four assists and three ground balls and Griffin Pfarr also had one goal and two ground balls for Tech.
The Cobras midfield was also busy with Tom Burley scoring one goal, grabbing six ground balls and winning 14 of 16 faceoffs. Greg Ransone added a goal and 11 ground balls and Nick Letts had one goal, six ground balls and won five of 10 faceoffs. Ron Huber chipped in with a goal, assist and four ground balls and James Butler had three goals and five ground balls.
Andrew Valenti also scored from the defense, while adding six ground balls and four takeaways. Also on defense, James Holcomb had five ground balls and four takeaways and Trevor Crehan had four ground balls and two takeaways.
In the goal, starting Tech goalie Chris Stallings made nine saves in the first half, while Connor Word made five in the second half.
Warriors beat Elks
Havre de Grace also played Elkton on Friday and won the non-division road game, 20-8, despite a slow start that found the Warriors down early by two goals and losing after one quarter, 2-1.
The Warriors rallied for nine goals in the second quarter en route to a 10-3 lead at half and then put up nine more goals in the third quarter for a 19-6 lead with one quarter left to play.
Havre de Grace was led by Casey Brown's three goals and seven assists, while Brian Cameron finished with five goals, two assists and four ground balls. Nick Burley had four goals, one assist and four ground balls and Donald Matts dominated faceoffs, while adding two goals, two assists and six ground balls.
Also adding to the scoring were Chris Anderson, two goals, one assist; Ralph Batykefer, two goals, three ground balls; Brad Davidson one goal, one assist, four ground balls; Austin Sylvester, one goal and Ryan Wilson, one assist and five ground balls.
The defense was led by Michael Laubner, Sonny Smith, Phillip McCown and Shawn Cardwell with four ground balls each. Goalie Jacob Laubner had five saves.
Patriots win again
John Carroll added another victory Friday at Park School, winning 12-4.
