An 18-year-old Bel Air man is accused of raping a 17-year-old girl at her home on Tuesday.
Justin T. Sparr, of the 900 block of Buckland Place, has been charged with second-degree rape and second-degree assault, according to court records.
The victim told the Harford County Child Advocacy Center that she had asked Sparr, whom she knows, to drive her to Harford Mall on Tuesday. He got angry during a conversation in the mall parking lot and allegedly made threats of a sexual nature there, according to the statement of charges.
After they left the mall, they drove back to the victim's home, where Sparr allegedly became angry, grabbed the victim's face and slapped her.
The victim tried to pull away but he ultimately allegedly forced her to perform sexual intercourse, according to the statement.
Sparr left the house after someone else pulled up to the residence.
He allegedly later told investigators he believed the sex was consensual.
