State Police seek alleged hit-and-run driver after Bel Air South crash

Maryland State Police are seeking a vehicle allegedly involved in a hit-and-run collision at Route 24 and West Ring Factory Road in Bel Air South Thursday evening.

State Police Cpl. Griffin said at the scene that the driver of a blue Toyota RAV 4 with Maryland license plates was heading north on Route 24 and was attempting to make a left turn onto Ring Factory when the driver lost control and struck two southbound vehicles stopped at the light at Route 24 and Ring Factory.

Firefighters with the Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company responded and had to cut away the driver's-side door of a Nissan Altima to free the driver, 41-year-old Reggie Gray of Harford County, Griffin said.

Gray was taken to Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air. Information on his condition was not available Friday morning.

Anyone with information on the suspect vehicle should call the State Police Bel Air Barrack at 410-838-4101.
