A man was flown to a regional trauma center after he was injured jumping out of a vehicle on Bel Air's Route 22 on Thursday morning, Bel Air Police said.
The 28-year-old man was a passenger in the vehicle and jumped out shortly after 8 a.m., near Maitland Street, after having an argument with the vehicle's driver, according to a media release from the Bel Air Police Department.
The Medevac landed at Rockfield Park around 8:30 a.m., according to monitored Harford County emergency radio broadcasts, and then took off en route to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore.
The incident was originally reported as a motor vehicle crash by the volunteer fire & EMS Association, but the Bel Air Police Department released a message in the afternoon saying the incident that it was an "accident with ejection."
The name of the victim has not been made public. No further details were immediately available.
