A woman was robbed at knifepoint while using an ATM Wednesday night on Bel Air's Main Street, town police reported Thursday afternoon.

The 25-year-old woman told police she had been robbed at the APGFCU machine at 321 S. Main St. at about 10:26 p.m., according to a Bel Air Police Department media release.

The victim said she was approached by a man who displayed a knife and robbed her of money. She then fled toward her vehicle.

The robber, who was seen walking from the scene, is described as a white man between the ages 18 and 25, 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall and weighing around 190 pounds.

He was wearing a dark jacket and pants, and possibly a dark hood or knit hat.
