Winters Run Inn burglary

The Harford County Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's help in catching two men suspected of burglarizing and causing damage to the Winters Run Inn of Joppa.

Two suspects, who are still unidentified, broke into the bar and restaurant in the 1900 block of Philadelphia Road early Monday morning. They stole cash and damaged property for a combined loss of more than $5,000, according to a news release from the sheriff's office issued Thursday.

The sheriff's office also released black-and-white images of the suspects, who covered their heads and faces while inside.

One suspect wore a light-colored hooded sweat shirt and jeans, and the second suspect wore a dark long-sleeve shirt and blue jeans, Cristie Kahler, spokeswoman for the sheriff's office, said Thursday.

All information is kept "strictly confidential," according to the news release.

Anyone who submits a "qualifying tip" to Crime Solvers can receive up to $1,000 cash as a reward, and anyone who submits a tip to Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland that leads to a felony arrest and indictment can receive up to $2,000 cash, according to the news release.
