There won’t be lions and bears, but a baby tiger is expected to visit Havre de Grace this weekend as Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom Host visits.
Stephanie Arne, host of Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom, along with some of her animal friends, will be participating in two events in the Havre de Grace Saturday and Sunday that are open to the public.
Joining Arne will be a baby tiger, sloth and eagle owl as well as other animals.
Arne and animals will be participating in the post-ride celebration for Cruise for a Cause from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday at Havre de Grace American Legion Post 47, 501 S. John St. They will be interacting with attendees and available for photos. Cruise for a Cause supports the services and programs of Cancer LifeNet at University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Health’s Kaufman Cancer Center.
On Sunday, from 11 a.m.-3 p.m., Arne and her animal friends will be back at the Havre de Grace American Legion Post for Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom Military Appreciation Day.
In support of its local offices, Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom travels to several cities each year to participate in family festivals, school appearances, grand openings and much more. Arne’s appearances in Havre de Grace are made possible by Mutual of Omaha’s Office in Baltimore.
