Forest Hill woman, 49, hurt in single car crash in Dublin

Maryland State Police

A 49-year-old Harford County woman was flown to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore Friday evening after a single-car accident on Route 543 in Dublin.

Dawn Christian Hoerr, of the 500 block of Chestnut Hill Road in Forest Hill, was driving a Kia station wagon south on Route 543 (Ady Road) near Heaps School Road around 6:20 p.m., according to Cpl. John Krysiak of the Maryland State Police Bel Air Barrack.

Witnesses said the car was swerving "all over the road," according to Krysiak.

The car went off the right shoulder, overturned and went down into a creek that was at least 30 feet off the road, Krysiak said.

"We don't know exactly what happened," he said.

Hoerr was flown by Medevac to shock trauma. She was released from the hospital prior to Tuesday afternoon, a spokesperson said.

Route 543 in the Heaps School Road area was closed for nearly three hours, State Police said.
