Woman threatened by man at gunpoint in Edgewood

Harford County sheriff's deputies are investigating a report of a home invasion Wednesday in Edgewood.

A woman, a 25-year-old who lives in the 2000 block of Brown Street, told police just after noon that at about 9:30 a.m. that three men knocked on her door, and when she opened it, a man pushed her back, threatened her with a firearm and ran off, according to Cristie Kahler, spokesperson for the Sheriff's Office.

The woman told deputies the man with the gun making the threats had small dreadlocks and was wearing blue jeans and a black shirt. She said she did not recognize any of the three men.

Nothing was taken and no injuries were reported, Kahler said. Detectives are investigating the incident.
