Shade Roe is perfect, at least in football picks [Commentary]

It didn't take long this year, but in week two football action, your favorite football mind came through with a perfect round of picks. Full disclosure: North Harford's game with Albert Einstein was postponed because of lightning, and I had North Harford losing that one, so we will have to wait and see what happens. If the Hawks win later on this season, I promise to go back and change my all-time record accordingly, but for now, I'm going to crow about going 7-0 last week. Here's what we have lined up tonight for week three action.

North East at Havre de Grace. The Warriors edged out Harford Tech last week, and they should not have any problems with the visiting Indians in tonight's game. The pick: Havre de Grace wins, 24-10.

Elkton at Aberdeen (being played at Bel Air). The unbeaten Eagles will march over the Golden Elks. The pick: Aberdeen wins, 42-20.

Perryville at Bo Manor. Also unbeaten so far, the Panthers are coming off a 35-0 shutout win over North East. This game will be a bit harder, but they should still win it. The pick: Perryville wins, 30-25.

Joppatowne at Patterson Mill. The pick: Patterson Mill wins, 24-18.

Loyola at North Harford. The pick: North Harford wins, 21-20.

St. Andrew's at CMW. The pick: CMW takes it, 23-14.

Bel Air at Edgewood. The pick: Bel Air wins, 35-24.

Fallston at Rising Sun. The pick: Fallston wins, 50-21.

Last week's record: 7-0

Shad's all-time record: 1,815-685, 72.8 percent
