Cecil sheriff's office investigating homicide in Port Deposit area Wednesday

A 33-year-old Port Deposit-area man was found shot to death outside of his home Wednesday, according to the Cecil County Sheriff's Office.

The victim, Jeffrey A. Myers, was found shot multiple times in his vehicle at the end of his driveway in the 1500 block of Principio Road, Lt. Michael Holmes, spokesman for the Sheriff's Office, said Thursday morning.

First responders were alerted around 4:50 p.m. Wednesday; Holmes said the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Law enforcement officers were searching for the suspects, according to a report posted on the Cecil County Fire Blog.

Holmes declined to comment further on the suspects Thursday.

Edward Hopkins, spokesman for the Harford County Sheriff's Office, confirmed Wednesday his agency received a "be on the lookout" report about the shooting, a report which was broadcast to law enforcement agencies.

Hopkins said via e-mail that law enforcement officers were advised to look out for an "older model" Ford Mustang and two "male subjects."
