Still time to sign up for Cody Richardson Relentless Run [Perryville]

This year's Spring Fling was a "wet" event but it still was lots of fun. Congratulations to the Chamber of Commerce and all those who organized and those who attended. This was a job well done.

The second annual Cody G. Richardson Relentless Run 5K and 3K fun walk will be held on June 1 at Perryville Middle School. This event benefits the Cody G. Richardson Memorial Scholarship Fund. Registration and packet pickup start at 8 a.m. with the runners taking off at 9 a.m. and walkers at 9:05. There will be a cash prize for the first place male and female finisher. There will also be awards for first, second and third place. For more information call 443-90728-8219. Donations can be mailed to P.O. Box 853 in Perryville MD 21903 – please make checks out to the Cody G. Richardson Memorial Fund. Ripken Crab Feast will be July 12 starting at 6:30 p.m. The menu includes crabs, hamburgers, hot dogs, corn on the cob, beer tea, soda, water and cookies. Ticket price is $48 per person, with a $25 per person deposit due May 12 and the remainder due June 10. Ticket price also includes the ballgame, an IronBird's baseball cap and fireworks after the game.

Send full payment by 12 May and be entered in a drawing to throw out the ceremonial first pitch at the game. This would be an excellent opportunity to bring family, friends and co-workers. Any questions please contact Dennis Bolen, 410-459-7179.

Relay for Life of Havre de Grace will be held June 7 to 8 from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. at the Havre de Grace High School. For more information, call 410-933-5214.

Mark your calendar for an evening concert with Charlie Zahm along with Fiddler Tad Marks and Guitarist Steve Hobson at St. Paul's Lutheran Church on Friday July 12. Concert starts at 7:30 p.m. Adults are $10, under 16 are free.
