Celebrate Iced Tea Month at HdG summer concert in the park

Hello dear readers,

June is National Iced Tea Month, so pack up the cooler with sweet tea to take to the Friday concert in Tydings Park, tonight (Friday) at 7:30 p.m. Bring chairs, tea and picnics to brighten the day's end with the six piece group The Klassix, performing classic top 40 and current hits. No rain location. Summer concerts are sponsored by the Havre de Grace Arts Commission. Next up July 11 is EWABO Caribbean steel drums music.

If in doubt, find out. Today, June 27, is National HIV Testing Day.

Grace Place Serving Center will host a free, hot luncheon to anyone in need July 1 from 11:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at St. John's Episcopal Church, 114 N. Union Ave., 410-939-2107.

Havre de Grace Main Street presents First Fridays in downtown Havre de Grace, July 4, 5 to 9 p.m.

The Joseph L. Davis Post 47, American Legion, 501 St. John St., will host a pavilion party July 4, 5 to 8 p.m. Public is welcome to hear live music. Pit beef, ham, turkey and steamed shrimp are on the menu. Yum.
