Patterson Mill bounced back from Saturday's regional dual meet loss with a tri-meet sweep Wednesday over visiting Elkton and North Harford.
The Huskies handled both opponents quite comfortably, beating Elkton, 50-22, and North Harford, 45-24.
Patterson Mill was led by five wrestlers who won in both meets. Colin McDonald, 113 pounds; Jake Nikkila, 132; Joe King, 195; and Eric Eckstein, 220, were double winners with two pins each.
The other Patterson Mill double winner was Juan Bustamante at 145, with a decision and pin.
Single match winners for Patterson Mill were Brent Iwanowski, 126; Connor Ries, 138; Josh Holbrook, 160; Andrew Wilkinson, 182; Lawrence Swartz, 152; Josh Johnston, 182; and Brian Whitby, 285.
North Harford match winners against Patterson Mill were Paul Johnson, 106; Austin Mitchell, 120; Will Sadowski, 126; Trevor Smith, 138; Greg Fiackos, 160; and Angelo Koulatsos, 170.
North Harford beat Elkton, 39-33. No match scores were provided.
Cougars beat Panthers
Fallston also won Wednesday, taking all but three bouts in a 50-12 victory over visiting Perryville. Two bouts, 112 and 170, were not contested, as neither team had a wrestler.
The Cougars had three wins by forfeit as well; Zach Ziervogel at 132, Charles Hechter at 145 and Dan Forman at 160.
Of the six contested matches won by Fallston, four came by pin. Eric Baranoski pinned Jarrett Bowman in :19 at 120; Zack Kauffman pinned Kris Campbell in 1:16 at 138; Gabe Wagner pinned Aegus Vervier in 2:49 at 220 and Alex Helm pinned Greg Meekins in 3:50 at 285.
The other Cougars wins came from Donavan Hohman, 12-3 over Ryan Berger at 106 and Gordie Reilley, 10-1 over Kaine Delancey at 170.
At 195, the Cougars Austin Rutkowski lost a tight 3-1 decision to Dustin Krahn.
Joppatowne won at North East, 33-28. No match scores were provided.
With the UCBAC Wrestling Tournament looming in a few days, a small number of teams continued squeezing in a dual meet or two to close the regular season.
Two of those teams matched up in Aberdeen Tuesday, where the Eagles hosted Perryville. Aberdeen won eight bouts en route to a 48-27 win.
The match started at 195 pounds, with Perryville's Kaine Delancey earning a forfeit.
The Panthers lead was short-lived, as Adric Turner pinned Aengus Vervier in 1:31 at 220 and CJ Allen pinned Greg Meekins in :15 at 285.
The Panthers pulled even at 106, with Ryan Berger pinning Caleb Layton in 4:51, but Aberdeen went back ahead on Marcos Colon-Pappaterra's forfeit at 113 and a Dylan Morris pin of Jarrett Bowman in 1:25 at 120.
Chris Brown got six points back for Perryville at 126, stopping Evan Smith in 3:36. Already ahead by six, Aberdeen took control with three straight wins and four of the next five. Three by forfeit.
Billy Morris collected the first forfeit at 132 and Daniel Velez pinned Kris Campbell in :50 at 138. Ryan Schoenberger, 145, and Frank Jiogo, 160, also had forfeit wins for the Eagles.
Perryville's next win came at 152 with Zac Zacerous earning an 10-8 decision over Dylan Lucas.
Neither team had a wrestler at 170, and Perryville won the night's final bout at 182. Dustin Krahn pinned Rocko Hillhouse in 5:14.
Mustangs trim Hawks
C. Milton Wright was also a winner Tuesday, beating visiting North Harford, 38-33.
The Mustangs won seven bouts, including five by pin. Pin winners were Ed Tomaskovic, 106; Spencer Hellman, 145; Ned Cassilly, 152; Doug Their, 195; and Alan Dorsey, 285.
CMW's other wins came from Nick DiMattia, by tech fall at 132, and Mike Zito, by 10-5 decision at 138.
The Hawks also had three pins from Will Sadowski, 126; Greg Fiackos, 160; and Patrick Lawrence, 220.
