The Perryman area could be getting a 300,000-square-foot warehouse building near the railroad tracks at the tip of Advantage Avenue.

Plans are under way for a building called Preston Warehouse, at Perryman Industrial Park just east of Perryman Road.

Preston Franklin LLC is proposing to build 340,105 square feet of warehouse on the 29.12-acre site, according to a site plan submitted to Harford County.

The developer, or a representative from Frederick Ward Associates, is scheduled to appear before the Development Advisory Committee Wednesday.

The site is vacant, and the developer is proposing a building 34 feet tall. The maximum allowed height is 40 feet.

The developer is also proposing 95 parking spaces for a potential of 73 employees, at least at the largest shift.

The site is within the Perryman water source protection area, according to the plan.

The original development was approved in 2004 and a public works on-site utility agreement was approved in 2002.
