Country Life Farm, Sky Blue and White sides take week-two summer lax wins

In week-two Harford Men's Summer Lacrosse League action on Sunday, the Country Life Farm, Sky Blue and White squads rallied for victories.

The most lopsided of Sunday's matchups saw Country Life Farm upend the Lime squad, 11-0.

Carson Kalama led the winning side with four goals and one assist, while Sam Chell and Calvin Fleagle both had a pair of goals. Luke Phipps had two goals and one assist, while Matt Gianelli posted one goal in the victory. Randy Jones dished out two assists, and Parker Jones had one assist.

Ben Richards had five saves in goal for Country Life Farm, and Lime's Nate Gilpin had nine saves.

Sky Blue wins by one

The tightest of week-two's contests had the Sky Blue team edging the Lime side, 9-8.

Trailing, 8-5, after three quarters, Sky Blue rallied to outscore Lime 4-0 in the fourth quarter.

Tevin Taylor had three goals for Sky Blue and Tyler Westin had two goals. Jay Butler scored once and had one assist, while Nick Kuzma, Mike Squires and Brian Andrychowski all scored once. Mike McQuarrie had one assist for Sky Blue.

Derrick Chisley paced the Lime team with a two-goal showing, while Pat Bivens, Jon Neskew, Brian Cameron and Phillip Goss all had one goal and one assist. Zach Pistol and Luke Anderson scored once each for Lime, while Max Matthai and Ethan McMillon had one assist each.

Brian Chittum saved six shots in goal for Sky Blue. Nate Gilpin posted seven saves for Lime.

White over Riptide

The White team overcame a slight halftime deficit to defeat the Riptide team, 11-9, on Sunday.

Riptide led, 4-3, after two quarters. The teams went into the fourth quarter tied, 6-6, when White outscored Riptide, 5-3, to seal the win.

Danny Rew scored a hat trick and handed out one assist for white, while Grant Bridges and Brad Wilson both had two goals. Kenny Reid, Matt Bellinger, Andrew LeBraun and Jake Brown all scored once.

Kyle D'Onofrio netted three goals for Riptide, while Bob Hopkins and Brooks Billings both had two goals. Brian Zink and Max Mullin scored once each in the loss.

White goalie Henry Vide had eight saves, while Brian Chittum posted seven for Riptide.
