A RiteAid was robbed at gunpoint in Havre de Grace by attackers who tied up employees before leaving, the Havre de Grace police reported Tuesday.

Two men, wearing ski masks and white T-shirts, came into the store, in the 1000 block of Pulaski Highway, at 10:21 p.m. on Thursday, spokeswoman Julie Morgan said.

One suspect had a gun and took two employees, who were about to leave for the night, to the back office, where the robbers tied them with nylon zip ties, she said.

Both employees lay on the floor while one suspect kept watch. The other suspect went behind the counter and took an undisclosed amount of money and cigarettes, she said.

The suspects then left through the front door and fled in an unknown direction.

As of Tuesday, the incident was still under investigation.
