I congratulate and thank Councilman Bill Martin, Councilman David Glenn and Bob Robinson. It was a pleasure to campaign along-side three very passionate and respectful gentlemen.
I would like to personally thank every resident who came to the polls and exercised their right to vote on May 6. I appreciate your support and am humbled to represent and advocate for the citizens and our City once again.
I am excited to start what I believe will be a very productive council term, and look forward to working with the mayor, administration and especially my fellow councilmembers.
I would be remiss, if I did not personally thank a few people who were instrumental in my campaign: My wife, Patricia for allowing me to spend "our time" as a councilmember; My Dad – Charlie - the best treasurer a campaign can have, and my son Steve Jr. for managing the campaign. A special thank you to Rich Holly, Bruce and Stephanie Lyon, Phil and Candy Powell, Barry Hewitt, Joe Weatherstein, Scotty Hurst, Charlie Vasilakis, Elwood McCullough, Mary and Rene Lambert, Don Osman and everyone who allowed me to post a sign in their yard and/or simply provided me with kind words of encouragement and well wishes.
Please remember to vote in the primary election on June 24, 2014!
