Man shot Saturday during dispute in Perrywood still in serious condition

A man was shot in the 200 block of Perrywood Court near Aberdeen about 6:20 p.m. Saturday, according to the Harford County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies arrived and discovered one male, later identified as Daniel Patrick Morris, 26, of the 400 block of Willow Drive in Elkton, had been shot; he was taken to Harford Memorial Hospital in Havre de Grace by an acquaintance, the sheriff's office said.

Morris was eventually flown to Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore by a Maryland State Police Medevac helicopter.

He was listed in serious condition at shock trauma Tuesday afternoon, according to a hospital spokesperson.

Preliminary information provided to deputies was that a dispute had occurred at the Perrywood Apartment complex when the shooting occurred, the Sheriff's Office said.

The victim was initially unable to provide a description of the suspect.

Detectives did attempt to talk with Morris on Monday but still did not have any leads on a suspect as of Tuesday afternoon, Sheriff's Office spokesman Aaron Stewart said.
