Edgewood posts boys lacrosse win over Hammond

While many boys lacrosse games were postponed Wednesday, Edgewood went to Howard County and returned with a 12-8 win over Hammond.

Sophomore Ryan Stiemly netted four goals and added two assists to pace the Rams, wile senior Joe Ludwig also scored four goals. Junior Caruso Nicholson chipped in with two goals and three assists and senior Shawn Kluchinsky finished with two goals and one assist.

Huskies lose opener

The Patterson Mill boys lacrosse team opened its season on the road Tuesday at Franklin with a 12-4 loss.

The Huskies trailed at the half, 7-2.

Chase Tallon provided most of the Huskies scoring, tossing in three goals, while Michael DiNatale scored the other; both had assists. Noah Holloway also had one assist.

Patterson Mill goalie Will Urban finished with nine saves.

Other score

Havre de Grace also lost in its season opener, falling 7-6 in two overtimes Tuesday to visiting North East. Stats were not provided.
