The Havre de Grace boys lacrosse team continued to post wins Wednesday, visiting and beating Joppatowne, 14-9, in non-division play.
The Warriors (8-3) found themselves in a battle at half, tied at 6. Havre de Grace trailed, 8-7, after three quarters, but rallied to pull out the win.
Casey Brown had the hot hand for Havre de Grace, scoring four goals and dishing out five assists. Colin Dean added three goals and four assists, while Nick Burley and Kyle Barkley each finished with two goals and one assist.
Connor Haffey added a goal and assist and single goals were also scored by Chris Parrott and Spencer Blythe.
Brett Wilson had a team-best five ground balls, while Parrott and Dean had four ground balls each.
Brown, Derek Lilly, Shawn Cardwell and Kevin Vickery each had two ground balls and Trent Reynolds had one.
Havre de Grace goalie Jacob Laubner finished with 10 saves.
Stats were not provided by Joppatowne.
Mustangs drop Gators
C. Milton Wright was also a winner Wednesday, beating host Perry Hall, 16-3, in non-league action. The Mustangs (4-6) led big at half, 10-1.
Brad Martin scored three goals to pace the Mustangs, who got two goals each from Manny Mastromanolis, Michael Logan and Dominic Venanzi.
Adding single goals were Nick Kramer, Andrew Mastromanolis, Kenneth Watts, Steven Cantor, Robert Elliott, Ethan Diven and Zach Johnson.
The Mustangs also had single assists from Jacob Smucker, Andrew Mastromanolis, Manny Mastromanolis, Elliott, Nathan Ehrhardt and Johnson.
The Mustangs played two goalies, with Phillip Venanzi making five saves and Mark Mayne making two.
Hawks beat Cobras
North Harford defeated host Harford Tech Wednesday, 13-9, in non-division action.
Clayton Hood and Chandler Schmidt scored three goals apiece to lead the Hawks (5-5). Ryan Feiss and Mic Green added two goals each, while Evan Siegel, Kyle Keating and Neal Johnson scored single goals.
Siegel, Feiss and Schmidt added two assists each and Johnson and Will Duley also had assists.
Tyler Fullem scored five goals to pace the Cobras (4-5). Griffin Pfarr, Steven Mills, James Butler and Brett Grube each scored once.
Fullem added two assists with other assists coming from Nate Haskell and Mills.
