Boys lacrosse teams from Bel Air and Aberdeen both stayed perfect and atop their respective UCBAC divisions with wins Wednesday.
Bel Air won at home, beating C. Milton Wright, 13-5, in Chesapeake (upper) play, while Aberdeen also won 13-5 at home, beating Bo Manor in Susquehanna (lower) action.
In Bel Air's win, the Bobcats (3-0 league, 6-1 overall) jumped out to a 6-1 halftime lead.
Joe Creaghan led the scoring with four goals, while Calvin Fleagle and Tom Pfeiffer each scored three. Garrett Utz added two goals and Brad Casale finished with one.
Fleagle dished out five assists and Pfeiffer had two. Utz, Austin Tredinnick and Connor Beil also had assists.
CMW (2-2 league, 2-4 overall) scoring came from five single goal scorers. They were Jacob Smucker, Nick Kramer, Ian Ziemski, Steven Cantor and Drew Kissner.
Bel Air goalie Gavin Hanley made five saves and CMW keeper Phillip Venanzi had 13.
In Aberdeen's win, Ethan Mauzy scored five goals and added three assists to pace the Eagles and Kyle Peters added three goals and four assists. Keenan Villareal chipped in with two goals and two assists and Matt Wassin added a goal and an assist. Kyle Sampson and Devin Beatty also had goals.
Goalie Luke Whittie made 12 saves.
The Eagles are 5-0 in league play and 5-3 overall.
Cougars edge Huskies
Trailing 6-3 at the half of Wednesday night's Chesapeake Division game in Fallston, the Cougars outscored Patterson Mill, 6-2, in the second half, en route to a 9-8 win.
Brendan Nolan's three goals paced the Cougars (2-1 league, 4-3 overall) and Ben Claffee added two goals. Single goals were scored by Ryan Buckler, Nick Esser, Tommy Kisielnicki and Wesley Rumple. Esser and Dylan Wolf added two assists each, while Buckler, Rumple and Claffee had one each.
Two players handled the Huskies (2-2 league, 4-4 overall) scoring as Noah Holloway and Michael Dinatale scored four goals apiece.
Chase Tallon had two assists for the Huskies, while Holloway and Brendan Mahoney had one each.
Fallston goalie Liam Wilcox made eight saves, while Patterson Mill keeper Will Urban had a much busier night with 18.
Hawks beat Hornets
North Harford improved to 4-5 overall Wednesday, beating Damascus, 10-6, in non-league play.
Jacob Linkous tossed in five goals to lead the Hawks. Ryan Feiss added two goals, while single goals were scored by Mic Green, Evan Siegel and Chandler Schmidt.
Feiss added a pair of assists and single assists were credited to Clayton Hood, Linkous and Siegel.
Siegel led with nine ground balls and Feiss had six. Siegel also won 14-of-18 faceoffs.
Hawks goalie Cameron Brosh totaled 10 saves.
While every other game on Tuesday's schedule was postponed by rain, the Susquehanna Division contest at Edgewood was not and visiting Perryville made the most of the rain-soaked game, winning 11-8.
Nick Ports and Tyler Wagoner scored four goals apiece to lead the Panthers (2-2 league, 3-3 overall), while Kyle Savick added a pair of goals. Nicholas Roberts added one goal in the win.
Roberts added four assists, while Savick and Ray Woods had two assists each. Ports and Wagoner also had an assist each.
