The Fallston boys (3-12 overall, 2-8 Chesapeake) held on for their second upper-division victory on Wednesday, handing the host Patterson Mill Huskies (9-7 overall, 3-7 Chesapeake) a 9-5 defeat.

Fallston's Andy Benjes, Mike Morais, Wyatt Alexander and Luke Gover each belted out two hits in the victory. Alexander, Morais and Brendan Weinhold each had one double.

Patterson Mill's J.T. Tipton smacked a double in the loss.

Weinhold started for Fallston and pitched into the sixth inning to earn the win.

Tech over Havre de Grace

Sneaking a game in Tuesday after a completely washed out schedule the previous afternoon, the Harford Tech Cobras cruised to an 11-0 victory over host Havre de Grace.

Havre de Grace slipped to 3-11 for the season and 3-9 against lower-division opponents.

Holding on to a 4-0 lead after five innings, the Cobras plated seven runs in the visiting half of the sixth to run up an 11-0 advantage. Havre de Grace failed to score in the bottom of the sixth, and the game was called in Harford Tech's favor under the 10-run mercy rule.

Nick Waite led the Harford Tech attack, going 2-for-3 with three RBIs, one walk and one steal. A.J. Borg was 3-for-4 with two RBIs, while Kyle Zentkovich was 2-for-4 with a double and three RBIs. Devin Chapman went 2-for-4 with one RBI and Jeremy Brown was 2-for-3 with two walks, two steals and three runs scored.

Havre de Grace's Luis Nieves was 1-for-3 with a double. The only other Havre de Grace hit came from Cameron Standiford, who had a single.

Waite started the game and pitched five innings, striking out six, walking one and holding the Warrior batters to one hit.

Owen Roger closed out the game for Harford Tech, surrendering one hit during a one-inning relief stint.

Havre de Grace starter Dominick Bolen took the loss.
