Man robs Aberdeen Travelodge

A man robbed Travelodge Hotel in Aberdeen Thursday at knifepoint, Aberdeen police reported.

No one was injured in the incident, Lt. Fred Budnick said.

The man walked into the hotel, in the 800 block of West Bel Air Avenue, just off the I-95 exit, at 5:53 a.m., according to a call for service.

The man displayed a knife at the front-desk employee and demanded money, according to the call.

The employee handed over cash and the man fled, according to the call.

The suspect is described as a white man, 5 feet, 3 inches tall with a sleeveless T-shirt and tattoos on his arm, according to Budnick and the call for service.
