Saggy beats Citation

The chart of the 6th race at Havre de Grace, the six-furlong Chesapeake Trial run on April 12, 1948, from The American Racing Manual. Saggy got the lead on the muddy track and held on for a length victory over Citation, who was carried wide by another horse in the final turn. The upset remains the most talked about race in the old racetrack's history.
