Two high-profile schools will get new principals this year, district officials confirm, both of which have experienced public turmoil in recent months.
The principal of Dunbar High School, where city school officials launched a hazing investigation of its high-profile football team this winter, will be stepping down at the end of the year, school officials confirmed.
And the prestigious Western High School, where a teacher recently lost part of her finger breaking up a fight, will also get a new school leader next year.
The two principal positions were among more than one dozen being advertised, here.
