Karen L. Swartz, an expert on adolescent depression, will speak Tuesday, Oct. 22 at the Roland Park Country School at 7:30 pm.
Swartz is the founder and program director of the Johns Hopkins University Adolescent Depression Awareness Program. She will speak about depression and bipolar disorder. The meeting, which will be free and open to the public, will be held at 5205 Roland Ave. in the Sinex Theatre.
The speech is part of an all day health colloquium that will bring a panel of experts on adolescent mental health to speak to students and faculty at the private school in Roland Park.
