Two men were killed in separate incidents early Sunday, Baltimore police said.
About 7 a.m., police found a man who had been stabbed in the heart in the 600 block of Winston Ave. in the Winston-Govans section of North Baltimore. He was taken to a local hospital where he died of his injuries. Police later identified the victim as Darryl Dovi of Baltimore.
About 1:45 a.m. Sunday, officers found a man shot multiple times in the 1500 block of Gorsuch Ave. in the Coldstream Homestead Montebello section of Northeast Baltimore, police said. He was taken to a local hospital where he died of his injuries about 2 a.m. Sunday. Police later identified the victim as Lamont Randolph Logan, 39, of Baltimore.
Later Sunday, police found the body of man in a field in the 4300 block of West Bay Ave. in the Brookyln section of South Baltimore. The man was shot multiple times and homicide detectives are investigating, police said.
Baltimore police also reported three non-fatal shootings late Saturday and early Sunday:
•About 3:30 a.m. Sunday, a man admitted himself to a local hospital with a gunshot wound to the chest. Officers later determined that the shooting occurred in the 3300 block of E. Monument St. in the Orangeville Industrial Area of East Baltimore. He is currently listed in stable condition.
•About 11 p.m. Saturday, officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 2200 block Aiken St. in the East Baltimore Midway section of the city, but were unable to find the victim. Police later determined that the victim was admitted to a local hospital and was treated for gunshot wounds to his left arm, lower back and chest. He is currently listed in stable condition.
•About 11 p.m. Saturday, a man was shot in the arm in the 2800 block of W. Lanvale St. in the Mosher section of West Baltimore. The man was treated at a local hospital and is currently listed in stable condition.
Police did not provide information about suspects or motives in any of the cases.
