Two people were discovered overnight suffering from gunshot wounds in the city, Baltimore Police said.
At around 1:55 a.m. Wednesday, a woman was found with a gunshot wound to the hand in the 5300 block on Plainfield Avenue in the Windsor Hills neighborhood, police said.
Early investigation found that an Infiniti Coupe and an SUV pulled up beside the vehicle where the victim was a passenger, according to a news release. The passenger of the Coupe then exited the vehicle and shot the handgun into the vehicle the victim was inside, striking her.
The woman was treated at a nearby hospital.
Later, at around 2:50 a.m., police responded to a man who had multiple gunshot wounds to his lower extremities in the 4200 block of Westchester Road in Frankford. He was also taken to a hospital for treatment.
Both cases remain under investigation.
