Harford County man charged with possessing, distributing child porn, police say

A Harford County man has been charged with possession and distribution of child pornography, according to Maryland State Police.

An investigation by the state police computer crimes unit into child pornography distribution that began in August led to Jeffrey Roger Forwood, 49, of Bel Air, authorities said.

Police said a search warrant was served Wednesday with help from the Department of Homeland Security, the Harford County sheriff’s office and Bel Air Police Department, and Forwood was arrested and charged with three counts of possession of child pornography and three counts of distribution.

Anyone with information on the case is asked to call 1-800-637-5437.
