A total of ten men were shot over the weekend in Baltimore, police reported.
Shortly before 7:30 p.m. Friday, a 25-year-old man was found by Western District officers at Bon Secours Hospital, where he had come in with gunshot wounds to the legs. Police said the victim was not cooperating, and they did not know where the shooting took place.
In a second incident, Northwest District officers arrived at an area hospital around 8:50 p.m. and found a 39-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his abdomen. The shooting, police said, occurred in the 4800 block of Cordelia Ave.
Around 9:10 p.m., Western District officers arriving at an area hospital found a 24-year-old man with a gunshot would to his face. He was reported in critical but stable condition. Police said that shooting occurred inside a vehicle in the area of North and Fulton avenues.
A second shooting in the Northwest District was discovered around 9:30 p.m., when officers found a 27-year-old man who had just arrived at an area hospital with gunshot wounds to his legs. Detectives believe the shooting may have occurred at Park Heights and Quantico avenues.
On Saturday, officers responded to an area hospital at 12:50 p.m. to find a 29-year-old male with nonlife-threatening gunshot wounds. The man said he was shot at Frederick and Augusta Avenues, however, the detectives could not locate a crime scene or any witnesses.
At 7:25 p.m. Saturday, officers responded to reports of a gun discharging in the 1700 block of Wilkens Ave. in Southwest Baltimore and found a man with a graze wound to the hip nearby in the 1600 block of Ramsey St. He refused medical treatment and would not cooperate with officer, police said.
Two hours later, at 9:20 p.m., officers heard gunfire while in the 300 block of S. Beechfield Ave.e and then saw a vehicle speeding to an area hospital, where a 22-year-old man who had been shot in the chest was dropped off. Police said he was in serious condition.
A second shooting victim, a 21-year-old male, was found on Beechfield Ave. at the intersection of Frederick Road. He was transported to an area hospital.
Before dawn on Sunday, a 28-year-old man was shot in the hand near Royal Farms Arena in downtown Baltimore, police said.
The shooting happened about 1:20 a.m. in the first block of N. Howard St., police said. They said the man was shot inside a store.
Around 7 p.m. Sunday, a 24-year-old man was shot in the stomach in the Mondawmin area of West Baltimore, police said. Police reported that he was taken to an area hospital before they arrived the scene, in the 2200 block of N. Pulaski St. They are hoping to retrieve video footage from the incident.
