Man killed, two women wounded in triple shooting in East Baltimore

A 34-year-old man was killed and two women were wounded early Monday in a triple shooting in the McElderry Park neighborhood of East Baltimore, police said.

Eastern District patrol officers called to the 2600 block East Monument Street at about 1 a.m. arrived to find the man suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest, police said.

A 23-year-old woman had a gunshot wound in the leg and a 22-year-old woman had a gunshot wound in the abdomen, police said.

All three were taken to an area hospital, where the man was pronounced dead, police said.
