Overlea High on lockdown as police search for suspect breaking into vehicles, police say

Overlea High was locked down Thursday morning as Baltimore County police searched for a suspect believed to be breaking into vehicles or attempting to steal vehicles nearby, a police spokeswoman said.

The lockdown was a precaution because officials did not want the suspect attempting to enter the school, said the spokeswoman, Louise Rogers-Fehr. The lock down occurred around 10 a.m.

No suspect information was immediately available.
