2 wounded in Dundalk shooting

Shooting reported in Dundalk, Baltimore County police said Thursday morning.

Two people were wounded in a shooting at a Dundalk gas station Thursday morning, according to Baltimore County Police.

A man and woman were at a gas station at the intersection of Merritt Boulevard and German Hill Road at about 7:30 a.m., when another person approached them and there was “some sort of an exchange,” said Officer Jen Peach, a police spokeswoman.

The third person pulled out a gun and fired on the man and woman. Each was hit at least one time. They were taken to a hospital where they were in good condition, Peach said.

The shooter ran off from the scene, Peach said. Police do not yet have a description of the suspect and they have not determined a motive for the shooting.
